Advantages and disadvantages OPPO Reno – Although OPPO has not disclosed the exact launch time and price tag, OPPO has officially stated that it will bring Reno OPPO and OPPO Reno 10x Zoom Edition to Indonesia.
This news is certainly good news for OPPO fans. This is because in general, these two phones offer unmitigated specifications. Both have qualified specifications, from cameras, chipsets, batteries, features, and so on.
But unfortunately, even though both offer good specifications, the regular Reno version is castrated on many things compared to Reno 10x Zoom Edition. Therefore, is it still worth considering?
Advantages OPPO Reno
Full Screen Without Disturbing Elements
Bringing a futuristic design, Reno has a front camera with a pop-up system dubbed Shark Fin. As the name suggests, the Reno front camera will soar upwards like a shark fin when it is being used.
Thanks to this design, Reno has a 6.4-inch Full HD + screen, which is really full without any annoying elements like a notch. This Reno-owned screen is built on the well-known OLED power saving technology
Performance remains agile
Unlike the Reno 10x Zoom Edition, which has been equipped with the Snapdragon 855 chipset, the standard edition Reno is only equipped with the Snapdragon 710 chipset. In general, this chipset is still one level below the Snapdragon 800 series.
Even so, Reno still offers a very capable performance. For those who don’t know, the Snapdragon 710 chipset is a chipset that is geared towards the middle class but is equipped with several premium specifications.
The chipset introduced in 2018 carries a core similar to Snapdragon 845. This chipset carries a special core called Kryo 360, with a combination of four Kryo 360 Gold 2.2 GHz which is combined with four Kryo 360 Silver 1.7 GHz.
In addition, this Qualcomm chipset is also equipped with an Adreno 616 GPU which is claimed to be 35 percent more powerful compared to Adreno 512 which is used on the currently rising chipset, Snapdragon 660.
Meanwhile, to support the capabilities of the chipset, OPPO will embed very large RAM and internal memory. OPPO will present a choice of 6GB or 8GB RAM, and 128GB or 256GB internal memory, on a Reno cellphone.
The deadly combination of these components will certainly produce a very good and maximum performance. Even in the AnTuTu test that appeared some time ago, Reno was able to score 166,935.
Or simply, Reno will be more powerful compared to phones that use Snapdragon 660, which is only able to penetrate the AnTuTu numbers in the range of 130 to 140 thousand, and Snapdragon 670, which is only able to break the numbers in the range of 150 thousand
Still Stunning Camera
Reno is also equipped with excellent camera support. Although only equipped with a dual camera, Reno has been equipped with a 48 MP resolution camera that has an f / 1.7 aperture with a sensor depth (depth) of 5 MP.
With this great resolution, Reno will be used to take more detailed pictures. With this small aperture, the Reno will be able to be used properly even in low light conditions. And with this depth sensor, Reno will be able to produce better bokeh images.
Like most premium cellphones, Reno is also equipped with very complete feature support. Some of them, Reno has been equipped with support for NFC, Hi-Res Audio, USB Type-C, Dolby Atmos, and Android 9 Pie wrapped in ColorOS 6.
In addition, Reno also has a fingerprint scanner sensor embedded in the screen, which is claimed to work faster. This device is also equipped with VOOC 3.0 Flash Charging support that can charge the battery fully in just 80 minutes.
Disadvantages OPPO Reno
There is no 10x Zoom Camera yet
Although it has several disadvantages, one disadvantage of Reno when compared to its brother is the absence of a third lens. This third lens is the main support feature 10 times magnification.
